Description

The Montessori place value mat, used with the golden bead material is used to teach the decimal system.

The columns represent:

TH = Thousands (1000)

H = Hundreds (100)

T = Tens (10)

U = Units (1)

The objectives of the material are:

Introduction to place value

Number building

Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with concrete materials

ONLY THE MAT IS FOR SALE, THE GOLDEN BEADS ARE NOT INCLUDED.

The quilted mat is made from 100% premium cotton, machine washable. The mat can be folded for storage.

The mat is lined on the reverse with a thick linen lining.  Linings will be random, unless you get in touch with a specific pattern.
